Palermo Soho boutique location of Buenos Aires
Palermo Sono is probably the trendiest district of Buenos Aires. In his small sores streets you will find the best restaurants, boutiques galore including many Argentinian fashion designers, tea, pastries, design shops. On Saturday, the area becomes a place of rendez-vous for local fashionistas but also worldwide. They meet for a break in teahouses as Nuchka or Cocu, or the spectacular Pain Quotidien with his back patio where they hustle to enter. For everyday's shopping just go to Scalabrini Ortiz, the wide avenue that borders the neighborhood, two blocks from the house. Supermarkets, ATM, dry cleaners are legion as well as newsstands and flowers shops.
On Scalabrini Ortiz you will find a lot of busses taking you through the capital. Their speed is spectacular and despite the extent of the city, the connections are effective. The metro is also on Scalabrini Ortiz, a 15-minute walk. On the same street taxis are plentiful and cheap.
